((Hi, I forgot again yesterday. So you get it a day late. c:))
2 April 2011
Since the last talks about Mt. Baekdu with South Korea went so well, I think it's been decided that a second round will be held sometime next week.
No set date yet, but hopefully the Southerners won't be too picky. It seems like they always are and try to purposefully schedule a date that's bad for the North, even when they have plenty of other days to choose from.
But, I think, for once we don't have anything important happening next week for them to screw up.

Fucking Japan...
Claiming Dokdo again. This time he's putting it in his textbooks like it's historical fact. Um, no, excuse me, those islands have been an important part of Korean history for years.
Always claiming those islands, that fucking Japanese man. His imperial days are long gone. He needs to just give it up and accept that he's not the empire he used to be.
Idiot.
Frustrated, 임 상 규

So, we've begun maritime infiltration drills near the east and west sea borders... Just in case, yes? Because if any of South's little war games with America get out of hand, I'm invading him first. Invade before he does--that's always a good plan, I think.
After all, I've done it once before and that worked out alright until the stupid American showed up.
No mistakes next time, 임 상 규

So we've been jamming South Korean radio and GPS signals every now and then and I think they're onto us.
Well, I mean, obviously. Who else would be doing it? But they can't really do anything about it, so that's what makes it fun. You know, pretty soon maybe we'll be able to block signals from further south. Maybe that way we could mess with stuff going on in Seoul and not just stuff happening along the DMZ. It sounds like a good possibility.
Having fun with this, 임 상 규

We've got to get this succession thing moving...
So we're thinking we're going to promote Jong Un again. He needs more experience and he needs it fast, and the only way to do that is to get him "up there" where he's got more access. I mean, his father may run the country, but there's still things he's not authorized to see, and Kim-gahka can't be there to babysit him all the time.
So Parliament's meeting tomorrow and they're going to do something about that, I think...
Bless our Young General, 임 상 규

Parliament actually decided to hold off on promoting Jong Un this time. Instead, they promoted some other people and dumped a couple of others. There was a lot of scrambling of government positions, probably for the better with the way things have been going here lately.
They're also working on some sort of plan to help with the economy, but it's super confidential so I can't risk writing it here and having someone see it (not that they'd get away with it, of course).
Also, some idiot fishermen apparently got caught fishing illegally near New Zealand, so now New Zealand is mad at us. I don't care if they fish illegally as long as they don't get caught. What is it with fishermen? Drifting into South Korean waters and getting caught fishing illegally? Do we have to strictly monitor fishing of all things as well?
I am disappointed.

We've had an agreement with South Korea to let their Hyundai company run tours to Mt. Kumgang on the North Korean side of the border for a while now.
But we're thinking of ending it. Too much trouble. Hyundai keeps letting their little tourists wander off where they're not supposed to, and then we get a bunch of crap when we shoot at them. We've made it very clear where they are and are not allowed to go. If they choose to go where they're not supposed to anyway, we have full right to consider that a threat. Anyone could be a spy.
This whole agreement started back in 1998. So much for the 50 years we agreed to run it...

That American, Carter, is coming again.
This time he's bringing some other people too though. Among them are former leaders of Finland, Ireland, and Norway. I don't really want to have to talk to any of them, but Carter is better than most Americans, I suppose...
We'll see.

So it has been confirmed.
Hyung and the American have been holding secret talks about me behind my back. And I suppose this is also more confirmation that China is beginning to get fed up, hm...
So I will be...rethinking my strategy, I suppose.
Maybe.
I will have to have a talk with Hyung about this. What his government things isn't necessarily what he thinks, although I know he himself is beginning to lose his patience.
That doesn't mean I'm going to change though.

Finally it is my turn to refuse South.
The South Koreans are demanding we don't go through with our threat to stop allowing Hyundai to run tours. Well, you know, I'm so sick of being denied about everything, I think I'm going to give him a taste of his own medicine! I don't care if it's got nothing to do with politics; I'm going to refuse to let Hyundai do their stupid little tours, just to let him see how it feels. Piss him off some. He's a spoiled brat anyway. It's about time he doesn't get his way for once.
I believe the Americans say something like, "How you like them apples?" I don't see what apples have to do with it, but...
Part of the game, Brother, 임 상 규

China seems real intent on trying to get us to restart Six Party Talks...
So lately they've been proposing some three-stage talk system thing that's supposed to get us there. What they're proposing, basically, is to try and get me to go talk to dearest brother first, and if that goes well the United States would finally agree to talks. And then if that went okay everyone would hopefully agree to Six Party Talks again.
As much as I would love to do that, I feel like we've tried this kind of thing so many times before that it would never work. Hm.
Also, it's even less likely now because some Swedish diplomats went and tattled on me to America. I forgot to mention we've had an American detained since November. Oops.
Oh well.
I'd say I'm sorry but I'm not, 임 상 규
((Okay...this is just getting to the point that it's pissing me off. North Korea keeps doing crap like this, and they're seriously asking to just wait until their whole system collapses. No way anyone's going to want to help them with ANYTHING when they're detaining people all the time.
Also, the United States doesn't have official diplomatic relations with North Korea, so most of their stuff with them is actually done through Sweden. It's actually the Swedish who are having to try and get this American guy out. America can't officially negotiate with them, I don't think.))

Oh, so now America wants to pay attention. Ignore me until I have one of your citizens? Alright, I see how it is.
So now we've got Carter coming at the end of the month (though it was actually us who requested him) and that...Clinton lady going to Seoul this weekend. I personally find her obnoxious and am happy that she's going to Seoul to talk to the Southerners. I don't want her here, but I have a feeling she'll try and get on their news stations down there to say something about that detained citizen.
Oh well, it's not like anyone here is going to see it besides the Dear Leader and I.
In other news, in the next couple of days we will be happily ignoring the Americans and South Koreans as we prepare for the celebrations of Kim Il Sung's birthday that happen on Friday.
More lovely happenings, 임 상 규

It always takes them so long to find out about things!
Even 'big bad Russia', oh yes.
We've been secretly running a casino in the North Korean embassy in Moscow for months. You can only get into the building if you've made prior arrangements, so obviously only the people we want to get in get in.
The Russians are beginning to suspect something, but I'm honestly surprised it's taken them this long.
In other news, Kim Il Sung's birthday is tomorrow. I will be remembering the Eternal President fondly... I do miss him, honestly.
Oh nostalgia, 임 상 규
((I'm most likely going to miss making a journal for Kim Il Sung's birthday, nooo. But yeah, last NK journal for four days. :C))

That damn American. He blacklisted one of the banks in Pyongyang!
That means whatever business Americans were doing with that bank is now frozen.
He did this because he found out about a little...deal I had with Iran. About weapons. So he decided to sanction one of the biggest banks in Pyongyang this time.
Why can't America just get over it? I bet he's got plenty of deals going with other countries over weapons. I know he's got them with my Brother.
I'll just have to be sneakier next time.
Sigh, 임 상 규

I may have also forgot to mention that I am also holding two Japanese citizens.
Hm.
They must've found out about that because there was a third that we let go. We detained two on drug charges but didn't think the third had anything to do with it, so we let him go. And he went and tattled. Oh, that figures.
Ah well.
Here we go again, 임 상 규
