The United States has said it will reconsider resuming food aid.
It's about time.
They're still thinking about it, they say, but they really seem to be leaning in that direction, unlike South Korea, which is pretty hard-set on giving us nothing. As always.
The US said they are willing to reopen talks too, but they still insist on me disabling some nuclear stuff. Not going to happen anytime soon, I hope they know.
But that's fine, I can settle for food aid in the meantime.

The South Koreans have strengthened their defenses on the border. We are on high alert now, more so than before. With increased weaponry at the border, they could easily turn any "drill" into an attack, so we are not taking any chances.
I myself was at the border today monitoring everything very carefully. Nothing seemed too out of the ordinary except for their heightened defenses, but that could change very quickly.
We will, of course, be making the border our highest defense priority.

Those 31 North Koreans who were captured by South Korea about three weeks ago...
They have agreed to give 27 of them back. What about the other four? I bet they've pressured them into staying through appeasement, deception and threat, just as always. The captain of the ship that drifted over is one of the four they are keeping. In particular, I want him back, so I can find out why he let such a thing happen in the first place.
They agreed, at least, to send back the boat as well.
But I still want the other four. In the meantime, the other 27 will be interrogated about exactly what was asked of them in South Korea, what they've told the South Koreans, why the other four are not coming back, and why this even happened at all. We will get answers.
Displeased, 임 상 규

Today, China formally invited the Young General Jong Un to Beijing to visit some time soon. We haven't decided on a date yet, and Jong Un hasn't even decided if he wants to go or not, but we all believe he'll say yes, since a visit would be important experience for him. After all, what sort of future leader would he be if he hasn't even visited our greatest ally?
Furthermore, China is quite a nice country. I'm sure he'd enjoy even a short visit there.

I really wish South Korea would agree to talks without any of their ridiculous pre-conditions. They keep demanding apologies and acknowledgments and such, which they are never getting. They might as well give up on that and just focus on actually talking instead of demanding an apology they are never going to get in the first place.
Though, I suppose I may have to wait a while since they are currently caught up in something else right now. They actually got hacked, again, but this time, it wasn't me! A lot of their government and bank sites have been crippled for two days.
They deserve it.
Amused, 임 상 규
((South Korea did get hacked again, but they've largely ruled out North Korea as the culprit this time. They found servers in the United States, Russia, Italy, Mexico, Israel, Hong Kong, and a bunch of other countries attacking those websites, but they're not sure who's behind it.))

The Dear Leader has been growing increasingly suspicious lately, what with all the unrest in the Middle East and whatnot. So, in case by some horrible twist the news of the uprisings there does happen to get inside the country, we've deployed tanks all around his house. I doubt and protesters would be willing to deal with that. We've got a lot of guards around too, most of them armed with machine guns...
I don't think we'll have a problem.
Long live the Dear Leader, 임 상 규

We are currently in the process of trying to get the four defectors from the whole boat ordeal to return to the North. The South still refuses to return them, despite everything we've said to them so far. We've even offered to hold talks over it.
So I suppose all that's left is openly pressuring the four defectors to return. They already know they are partially traitors for wanting to stay. They will be full traitors if they do. If they come back, maybe we will partially forgive them, yes?
Their choice.

It's funny really.
I enjoy watching the Southerners get all worked up over a few jumbled signals. It's quite a lot of fun actually. We beamed jamming signals from Kaesong a few days ago to screw up all their military signals during the middle of their drills with the US. That includes their guided missile signals, and apparently, it worked, since they got so worked up over it. I will keep this in mind, in case they ever decide to launch one at me...
Watching, 임 상 규
((Also, now they DO think North Korea sent the virus to 20-something S. Korean websites a few days ago. They're getting pretty good at this hacking thing...))

So, we have tried a new strategy to try and get the four defectors to try to come home. Presently, we have refused to take the other 27 until those four agree to come back. Hopefully the South is feeling a bit awkward right about now...
Anyway, we have video recorded the families of those four defectors pleading for them to return. It's rather heartbreaking really, especially since the defectors know their families may be imprisoned even though they were the ones committing treason? Maybe the sense will return to them...
Watching this closely, 임 상 규

The South can't last out forever on this thing. They know they can't leave 27 North Koreans awkwardly waiting to return home...not allowing them to return would be like kidnapping.
In addition, the four defectors will now face the guilt of knowing they have tried to leave their families, especially after seeing them pleading for their return.
I believe they will all come to their senses soon enough.
All a matter of time, 임 상 규

It seems like America is beginning to give in. They seem very closer to resuming food aid even though they said they wouldn't. Typical Americans... They can't keep their word about anything.
Although, I suppose I shouldn't complain, since it looks like I will get something out of it after all.

I really wish I could see Japan's face right now...hehehe.
He really does deserve this. For all those atrocities he and his people committed during World War II? Oh yes. He would not even allow my brother and I to be Korean, he held thousands of Koreans and Chinese prisoner and did absolutely disgusting things to them. He deserves this. I hope he's happy.
I sure am.
You get what you give, 임 상 규
((Just to get this straight, that is NOT how I feel about the earthquake in Japan. The earthquake was a truly terrible event and NO country deserves to have that happen to them. At all. And I'm truly disgusted by the people I've seen on Facebook saying "Karma's a b****, ain't it, Japan? That's what you get for Pearl Harbor." How could you SAY that? The people affected by the earthquake have NOTHING to do with Pearl Harbor. That was a long. Freakin'. Time ago. And even then, no matter what they've done, in the past, they don't deserve that. Some people... :/ ))

Russia is apparently sending an envoy to talk to us about our nuclear program. Such short notice, but that's just like him... Doesn't say so until the last minute so I can't say no. Clever strategy I suppose. Russians.
I suppose it's not completely unexpected though. He's been one of the main people telling me I should return to Six Party Talks, so it would have been right to expect him to send someone here eventually anyway. I've just been caught up in other things... Sometimes Russia fades out of the picture compared the South, America, and China.

Uggh...
I hate it when they actually manage to convince me.
So...the Russian envoy showed up today. We all threw together an itinerary because it was on such short notice, and got started right away as soon as he got here. Damn Russians, giving us almost no time to prepare.
And you know what that guy did? He convinced us. He convinced us to agree to discuss uranium enrichment with other nations. I had been saying we wouldn't but...he had some good points.
We're still going to keep digging those tunnels for another nuclear test though. He didn't dare to question us about that, hehe.
Should I be upset or not? 임 상 규

I guess we've just been generous this week...
We agreed to take back only 27 of the 31 North Koreans that drifted into South Korea about a month ago. We suggested the four defectors come to the DMZ anyway and tell their families to their faces they were abandoning them, but the South refused. That's okay though. The four defectors know what they're doing, and their families know they're being abandoned. As long as we're all at an understanding, I suppose...
Too much giving, 임 상 규
