So, not exactely a Hetalia pic per say, but I remember Prussia and a few others mentioning that they wanted to see this pic when I finished it. And hey, it is historical. XD I love old planes. Seriously. Of the ones common in World War I, none are as gorgeous in my opinion as the Albatros DIII. These planes need more love and recognition! I only wish I could have done it more justice, especially concerning the awesome engine. Of course, nobody brought more fame to the Albatros DIII than Manfred Von Richthofen, also known as the "Red Baron." I fail at people, (sorry Richthofen) so I drew him more cartoon-ish to try and make him look a little less stupid. I actually had not planned on putting anyone in the plane, but then it looked really creepy since it was in flight, so I added Manfred and the background. The scanner did not pick up the background clouds at all, and mutilated the smoke and iron crosses. D: So I swear they look less funky on the original. (Which was so big it had to be scanned in pieces and then put back together in Paint.) Next on my list, ghostly piloted jet fighters!

Ooo! I really like it! ! Cartoonish Red Baron or not, I think it really suits the picture, him looking all bundled up. And is it just me or is there like a skull in that cloud of smoke? XD It's sad that the scanner was unable to pick up on everything, but it still looks excellent~!

Thanks guys. ^^ (That is a skull-like formation in the smoke.) And sad to say, only the darkest bits of smoke made it thanks to my scanner. There were actually several shades of smoke.
