Ah, so much has happened since I read it and decided that I would reply. /Spanish laziness
Anyway, I would probably skip the Cold War thread because realistically, it would move a lot faster with less people who are not as involved in it. <3 As for the cultural one, I guess once we figure out the details, I'll decide if I am gonna jump in or not. But looking at it right now, I'll probably jump in.

Prussia is canon dead, and therefore shuns your Cold War Conference. Shuns it from beyond the pale.
Though I suspect that since Germany is around to do all of that bureaucratic diplomatic boring stuff, there isn't much constructive presence Prussia would have to offer a Conference anyway -- aside from the usual ruckus he'd undoubtedly raise.
Some past cultural exchange and/or meeting of world powers might be fun. I would certainly be up for throwing him in just to serve as a Devil's Advocate.

Okay, so everyone agreed that there should be two different threads then, correct? Now all you need to do to get started is have everyone reply to this and say which thread they want to be in and go from there. Then you can figure out thread order, and probably fill in whatever other details you need after that. *Is totally pushing this idea along because she wants to thread-stalk.*So, people listed as wanting to be in the thread, please reply to this and say which thread you want to be in, the Cold War meeting thread, or the more general cultural exchange thread. (I believe that was the other one that people were wanting to be in, yes?) For obvious reasons, I would want to be in only the cultural exchange thread, not the Cold War one.

China might as well be in both as well, though the Cold War is a definite. Considering the --well, yes, communist side~

I'm up for the Cold War thread for sure, and I might end up joining the culture one too depending on how things are going for me then.

Both, the Cold War thread, and the other one. ;D However, I haven't decided whether Sweden will be anything more an an interested observer in the Cold War meeting. Gonna quickly point out that the coldwar is very liable to just end up as dull as hell for you since Sweden would probably just get heavily ignored by most/all parties involved. If you wanna do it then cool, but just a quick warning is all xD

Ah, I'm a bit late to this party, but I would love to join if I still can?
The Cold War was an interesting time in Canada as well, so I'd like to join that one. And I'm also up for the cultural thread.

So, since I kept a running tally, here is the list of who shall be in what thread. ~
Cold War Meeting ~China ~Belarus ~Sweden ~Finland ~North Korea ~America ~England ~Canada
Cultural Exchange Thread (Which should take place back before 1947 so that Prussia can join.) ~Prussia ~Finland ~Sweden ~Seychelles ~America ~England ~Ireland
Switzerland and Poland still need to decide on which to join, but you guys can surely decide what you want to do with these threads now.

Okay, since these threads are super-important to those members of ours who currently can’t find anyone else to thread with ( due to the people they need being either on hiatus or bogged down with threads atm ), and since I would hate to see two great ideas fizzle out, I decided to grab the initiative here and give this plotting thread a little turbo-boost. Here are the posting orders I came up with for each thread. If anyone has any problems with them ( say you don’t want to be the threadstarter, etc. ) now is the time to speak up! Until one full posting-cycle has passed for the thread in question these lists are malleable, so if you’re in a place you don’t want to be in, all you have to do is say so. By the way, Switzerland, if you still want in on either or both threads, just let us know. I didn’t include you because Ivan said she’d been unable to contact you to confirm which thread(s) you wanted in. Cold War MeetingChina ( threadstarter ) Belarus ( 2nd ) Canada ( 3rd ) America (4th) England (5th) North Korea (6th) Sweden (7th) Finland (8th) Cultural Exchange Thread (Which should take place back before 1947 so that Prussia can join.)Prussia ( threadstarter ) Finland ( 2nd ) Sweden ( 3rd ) America ( 4th ) England ( 5th ) Seychelles ( 6th ) Ireland ( 7th ) It falls to the threadstarter to set the scene with the place, date, time, and situation ( they also get to decide what the weather's like XD ). So if anyone who isn’t the threadstarter feels really strongly that they would like the cultural exchange thread to take place on, say, December 2nd, 1900, in Paraguay ( to pull up a really random example ), by all means contact the threadstarter for that thread with those details and collaborate. I look forward to seeing some awesome threads spring into being! *rubs hands together eagerly* ;D

Alright, quick update-- I have no issue with starting the Cold War thread, and actually, I am working on it as we speak. The date I have picked (due to Ivan not being able to come) is 1976.
**If any of you need me to change this, please feel free to PM me ASAP. We'll work to fix it, but I can't do anything unless you speak up soon-ish!**
That being said, I'm going to link everyone here in case you need to talk OOC with anyone else about their post.. I'll also be yoinking the un-edited posting list, unless you post here...or PM me to change your spot, I will just assume this is the pattern we are following.
I--am also assuming it will be up on Sunday, I'll probably finish the rough tonight and polish it before tomorrow night. Schedule pending, and all of that. Don't worry if you need to contact me about the date or whatever--and I've already posted, though! I'll inform the second in line to hold up while we figure out what to do, if you have any issues.
Happy posting guys~ <3

Quickie, quickie, quickie~
For those of us in the CW thread, "A Crimson Epidemic" is up, Click here, bros! Placed it in No Man's Land because I couldn't honestly think of a country to put it in. Also, said that conferences go there--SO YUP. Hah, if any of you have a suggestion to move it though, I'll ask Russia~ or Germany..
Bela, you are next in line unless you want to swap with someone else!
My apologies for the fail.. orz I think my muse died halfway through, and remember that word count doesn't really matter! Just--post what you are comfortable with and what others can go off of?
Heh~ lets get busy! x3
