Hi Everyone,
I have the honour of being your new Denmark! I look forward to threading with you all. I don't think I've ever been as nervous as when I was writing that app, and to be honest I still am. You're all as scary as hell intimidating with all your mad skillz. I feel very out of sorts because normally I'm not shy at all. And I feel very awkward writing this introductory post. Gah *flail*
Hopefully I might catch some of you in the c-box when I summon up the courage to say hey because even though my time-zone in GMT+12, I think my afternoon coincides with most people's late evening.
Unlike most of the talented people here, I speak only English (with varying degrees of success). I do know some Maori phrases, which is the indigenous language here in NZ, but seeing as less than half the population of NZ speaks Maori and no one else in the world does, I can't see myself wow-ing anyone at all with that. And somehow being able to order beer, pizza and ice-cream in Italian isn't ground-breaking, either.
When not my bossy Danish alter-ego, I am either working, sewing, trying unsuccessfully to train in capoeira or sleeping (but probably sleeping). That basically sums up my life.
You all seem terrifying pretty awesome, so I'm looking forward to getting to know ya and starting some plottage.

Hi new Denmarkkk~ o/ Generally I don't post to these things, but you seem so shy skdalkdalks ;u; no need to be! We're pretty friendly and also really more idiotic than it seems, honestly :I also I don't get to meet many people from NZ~ I think the majority of us are Americans and some other foreign people and some Canadians I guess but who cares about them And no worries! I am also a monoglot, and so are... a few other people, I think, yeah most of us are double-tongued BUT you can definitely come sit in the one-language-speaking corner with Ludwig and I.
ffff okay it's late so excuse my inherent stupidity for now, but I did want to say hullo and welcome to DR and I'm looking forward to threadstalking some Nordic shenanigans. :'D And seriously, do come say hello in the cbox! I think our proximity to the summer season has been making a few of us more crazy than usual but that's all the more reason to drop in! xD

Hei Tanska!
We're not scary. Honest! Ah, but everyone always seems to think we are... Seriously, though, there's no need to be intimidated except maybe you can be nervous when the Asian drama starts, but as long as you keep a ten-foot radius, it's all good.
You should definitely join us in the cbox. We have all kinds of fun there! Truth or dare, epic battles, weddings... I know some of us including myself stay up until all ungodly hours, so you shouldn't have a problem finding someone online.
Anyway, welcome to Darker, my fellow Nordic~ Maybe we can thread together soon!

Hello there Denmark! No need to be nervous, I promise that none of us bite. Well...actually I promise that most of us probably don't bite. Anyways, we are all super friendly here and love chatting it up with new people, so feel free to join us in the cbox as well when it strikes you. It's not required of course, but it's a good way to get to know some of our lovely members. ~
If we are talking about successfully speaking a language... then I am only really an English speaker too. XD I can piece things together in Russian, but I probably butcher the language all the time. (Damn those cases!) I can read French, but don't expect me to speak or write it because I will fail even harder there.
So yeah, welcome to Darker Reflections. ~

Welcome to the site! Like others have said, no need to be nervous — we're all pretty friendly here. I'm sure you'll have little difficulty catching someone online — most of us are somewhere on the North American continent, yes, but we're all spread out through different time-zones, and a fair number of us like to stay up unhealthily late ( yay for night-owls! ). We also have a few Europeans on here, so there's usually at least one or two people about ( and usually more ) for all but like, maybe 3 hours of the day. No worries about being a monoglot! As you know I am one as well, as are our Poland and England players and few more that I KNOW I'm forgetting >_< XD! There are a lot of language-lovers on here, so your Maori will be an exciting, exotic, and thoroughly welcome addition to our language discussions, should you ever want to impart some lessons on us. :'D Again, welcome! It's nice to have you here, and I look forward to seeing your Denmark in action!

Hello, Denmark! I play Seychelles and Ukraine on Darker. New Zealand, huh? I don't think I've ever met anyone from there before. Howdy fr'm Texas! Nice t' meet y'all! You should definitely join in on the cbox fun. It's a great way to hang out and get to know people. People on this site tend to keep weird hours, so you shouldn't have much trouble finding someone online to chat with. And there's no need to be shy - people on Darker tend to be really friendly and a lot of fun to talk to. Don't feel bad about being monolingual. A lot of people on this site are, or only speak a little of another language. I speak some basic French and a few words of Spanish, but I'm not by any means fluent in anything but English. Or even vaguely competent. Hopefully that will change soon because I'm almost certain that I'm going to choose French for my college major. (no, everyone says, do Spanish instead if you're going to study a language. People here actually speak that. What are you even going to do with French? But I'm stubborn like that and I like French better.)
