I think that we should make a subboard for the 'event', and make it so that anyone can make threads. But since it's a crowded house, people can stumble in and out of threads, maybe?

That actually does make good sense to me, Pol. I am for that. Make all the threads open so that people can stumble about perhaps? What do the rest of you guys think?

We could just make it a post-at-your-own-pace type thing rather than having a set posting order so that responses to questions and conversations and such would be more organic. Of course there would have to be an overseer, if you will, driving the plot. They could post maybe once daily telling how much time has passed, etc.
If we decide to divide the thread, instead of splitting up by each roommate pairing, we could have an upstairs, downstairs and outside thread, maybe.
*shrug* Just an idea. I'm down with whatever everyone else is for.

Yeah, I like the idea of not having a posting sequence. You can just post wherever, whenever maybe? I'm thinking we don't even really need to separate things by time of day or room... Maybe a thread could just have a time period like... 'Set: Morning, Kitchen' and chaos can break out in there, but if a character wants to move somewhere else, they can just make a thread that says like 'Late Morning, Badtouch Room' ....
I dunno, actually. I'm gonna stop now. -zips self up-

Canada is in for this. I like what's being purposed so far, as long as we look out for each other and don't allow someone to get /too/ behind because one or two people have a lot to say.
I agree a lot with what Poland has to say

Wow, we've got a lot of people~ Updated the list! Time to hammer out some details.
Alright, so ideas that everyone seems to be in agreement on: - No set posting order - Characters are free to move about the rooms - Poland gets to randomize the roommate pairings (aside from those that have already been chosen)
Things that still need to be decided on: - If a sub-board is going to be created for the event - If/how the threads will be divided - If characters will be voted out of the house - If someone/who is going to drive the plot as being in charge of time changes

Eh, didn't someone already suggest splitting them by location and time? 'Kitchen Thread, Night' versus 'Kitchen Thread, Day' and so on? I like that idea~ And a subboard would probably keep things more organized~ And YES, let's having voting off somehow~!

With the addition of Japan, I'm cutting off the sign-up list. This gives us a nice even number~

Hmm, on the voting off thing.. If it's like that, it would get more complicated ; as in whether wat would be the 'goal' for the week, etc etc.
I'm not too fond of the idea (because japan would get voted off asap!!) But nah jk, I think it'd be cool whether we have it or not. * u*

Just a little bump to let everyone know I'm still in on this!
I agree with Japan about the voted-off thing. While it could be fun, it could potentially make things a bit too confusing, and would be hard to implement. If anyone has a good plan for how to make it work though, please come forth!
Having designated threadstarters would be a good idea so we're all not waiting for someone else to make the first move. I can't be one myself since I'm still playing catch-up in my threads, but making a list would definitely help. Volunteers, anyone?

Once I finish up this post for Germany I'm willing to start one as well. I'll start an arrival thread when they first get to the house? Would that be ideal?
